Trevor Holmes is a senior consultant for the International DOOR network, providing management training in Europe & The Middle East. He works with many leading companies in Finance, Retail, FMCG and IT sectors. He began his career as a manager for Marks & Spencer's UK, and represented several leading FMCG companies while employed as Director of Client services for a leading advertising group. He is British but has lived and worked in Lithuania for 12 years, is married and has two sons age 5yrs & 1yr. In his spare time he tries to play golf.

Edgars Pentjuss is project manager in GS1 Latvija. He is in charge for Barcode Verification LAB, EDI, Win on the Web and Mobile Commerce projects with GS1 Latvia. During his career he was responsible for ECR Baltic coordination, managed number of e-commerce projects in banking, incorporation and document management systems exports.
After studies he joined Noord Natie where he was responsible for container logistics and container application introduction in Ventspils Terminals.
Edgars has graduated Latvian Maritime Academy in Port Management and has taken post graduate studies at Antwerp Business School for European Business Studies.
He is married and has a lovely daughter.

Joe Horwood manages global communication for the GS1 MobileCom project. This is an cross-industry initiative involving over one hundred companies representing manufacturers, retailers, mobile industry companies and solution providers. It aims for all consumers to have access to trusted product information and related services via their mobile phones and all stakeholders to use open standards to make this possible and so ensure interoperable, scalable and cost-effective applications. Prior to working with GS1, Joe worked with a number of web agencies and in consumer market research. Hi is based at GS1 Global Office in Brussels.

Gianfranco Walsh is Professor of Marketing and Electronic Retailing at the University of Koblenz-Landau, Germany. He holds degrees from the University of Lueneburg, Manchester School of Management (now Manchester Business School) and Leibniz University of Hannover. He is also a visiting Professor of Marketing at the University of Strathclyde Business School in Glasgow. His research focuses on strategy, retailing and e-commerce. His work has been published in, amongst others, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and British Journal of Management.
