In response to Latvian Traders Association request and on behalf of ECR Baltic, we have shared the principles to be followed when considering new legislation introduction in consumer goods supply chain:
- Interests of the consumer and shopper
- Sustainability, imposing all parties to ensure maximum efficiency and optimization of resources in the distribution of goods throughout the supply chain.
- Support for Industry self-regulation options, such as www.supplychaininitiative.eu for good trading practices in B2B commercial dealings.
